1. Who we are

This website ("Site") is operated by complemental.ai UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("we", "us"), the controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we collect

When you visit this Site, our hosting provider automatically processes the data technically required to deliver the pages: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status, user agent and referrer (server log files).

We do not use analytics, tracking, marketing or personalization cookies, and we do not store identifiers on your device. Fonts are hosted on our own server. The Site makes no requests to third-party services when it loads.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Server log data is processed solely to deliver the Site and to ensure its IT security, on the basis of our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Hosting

This Site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), Cloudflare Pages, which processes the server log data described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Details:https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.

Processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR) and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

5. Booking a call and contact form

Our "Book a call" and "Send us a message" buttons link to external services: Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA) for appointment booking and Tally (Tally BV, Belgium) for our contact form. These services are only loaded once you click the link. If you use them, the data you enter is processed by the respective provider so that we can contact you and hold the requested meeting (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Their privacy policies apply. Contacting us by email is an alternative at any time.

6. Retention

Server logs are deleted or anonymized by the hosting provider after a short period, at the latest after 30 days. Contact data is deleted once your request has been handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision, BayLDA).
